Tuesday, June 8, 2004
Location: Fort Garry Hotel, 222 Broadway, Winnipeg
Employee
Well-Being - Why Should the Company Care?
Lunch - 12:00 Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Employee absenteeism is the norm. Job satisfaction is down and turnover is up.
What's employee well-being got to do with it? How did we get here and where
do we go? The workplace wellness code of practice says: a reasonable workload;
voluntary overtime; the opportunity to decline work. Wishful thinking? You'll
want to bring your boss to this session!
Creating a Healthy Workplace
Workshop - 1:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
It's not about installing a gym, a great benefits package or even workload.
It's about changing how we work, how we interact, how we manage people. Dr. Duxbury
will review why we (workplaces) have to change and what
we have to change, and focus on Are You Ready for change and How
to move forward.
Note: These
sessions are part of the People, Skills, Performance - Workplace Trainers
Conference taking place on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Click here for full conference
information.
