For the first time in history, there are four generations working side-by-side in the workplace. They have each been raised in dramatically different times in Canadian history. As a result, their attitudes toward work, leisure time and how time on-the-job should be spent are all different from one another. Each of the four generations at work presents unique challenges to leaders, managers, and coaches in any organization. Learn how to understand and manage each generation uniquely.

At the end of this workshop, you should be able to:

  • understand what is a "generation";
  • identify the four generations in today's workforce;
  • recognize your personal generation;
  • have an awareness of the qualities of each generation;
  • understand the unique history of each generation;
  • recognize the approach that each generation takes toward work;
  • recruit, develop and promote members of each generation;
  • recognize and resolve generational confllicts;
  • value generational diversity.

This workshop is for managers, supervisors, team leaders, human resource professionals, and staff working in age diverse workforces.
